“What is the role of Sergeant?” – Potential promotion board question
As a heads up, I’m currently planning out and working on a couple of premium podcasts about ‘The Great Sergeant’. It’s something that’s inspired me for years and has stood the test of time for decades. I even signpost and give an overview of its importance in my Promotion Masterclass, the number one way to prepare for your promotion.
But in these podcasts, and like my myriad of other premium podcasts I put out for you, I’ll be diving deeper. This will provide you with a deeper understanding of the role of Sergeant, while supporting your ongoing leadership CPD.
Not only is this important of course if you’re a PC thinking about or seeking promotion to Sergeant. Maybe you’re baffled by the language in the associated CVF level, or the descriptors you’ll be assessed against just don’t resonate. But if you’re seeking the Inspector / Chief Inspector ranks, it’s also relevant. Not least because you’ll need to understand the roles which you aspire to lead and manage the performance of!
So in this upcoming webinar, I’ll be giving you a free summarised version while picking out a couple of the most inspiring points from this resource. More will be revealed on the day, so make sure you tune in.
